Accounting under Lucro Presumido

Organize accounting and tax compliance under Brazil’s presumed-profit regime. Eligibility, activities, revenue recognition and the complete cost of the operation need to be assessed together.

What the engagement covers

  • Identify the activities, contracts, revenue streams and periods used in the assessments.
  • Prepare the tax calculations and declarations included in the engagement, distinguishing taxes on revenue, profit-related assessments, payroll and other applicable charges.
  • Maintain accounting records, reconciliations and statements rather than treating presumed tax bases as the company’s actual accounting profit.
  • A comparison with Simples Nacional or Lucro Real must account for eligibility, margins, payroll, compliance and the owners’ position. No regime is assumed to be universally cheaper.

From contact to delivery

  1. 1.

    Explain the need

Choose the service and a return channel. You can indicate your preferred language; technical-service availability is confirmed before engagement.

  2. 2.

    Agree the scope

The proposal identifies deliverables, periods, documents, each party’s responsibilities and fees. Studies, implementation and recurring work are distinguished.

  3. 3.

    Organize the work

After engagement, document channels, individual access and the delivery calendar are agreed. Do not send credentials or sensitive documents in the commercial form.

Scope, fees and responsibilities are agreed before technical work begins. These services concern Brazilian obligations. Requirements in another jurisdiction need professionals qualified there.
